Sandy Mattingly
My family and I have been CU members for over 35 years. I worked, prior to my retirement in 2003, for 20 years at Food Services of America. I also serve as a board member and President of my condominium.

View MorePhone Call Scams
Beware of Automated Phone Call Scam:
There is an increasing number of automated telephone scams designed to get you to release your personal information to fraudsters that can later be used to make unauthorized purchases with your credit or debit card. Please be advised that your credit union and it’s affiliates will never call and ask you for your card number. We do however work with a fraud center that will call you and ask you specifics about transactions you may or may not have authorized in order to catch fraud more quickly. They will ask you to verify things like your Social Security Number or Date of Birth, these calls are made by a live person, not an automated service. If at any time you are not sure who you are speaking with, hang up and call the CU before answering questions.

View MoreRecent Corporate Credit Union News
On Friday, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) announced that 3 corporate credit unions would be taken over (placed in conservatorship). Corporate credit unions provide back office support for things such as electronic transactions or check clearing for retail or “natural person” credit unions like Puget Sound Credit Union. Despite this news, PSCU continues to have a net worth ratio that is considered well capitalized, and we look forward to being able to serve our members with the high level of service and value you have come to expect.
View MoreAlert Suspicious Card Readers In The Area
Please be aware of suspicious card readers if you use ATM's that require you to swipe your card to gain lobby access to them. If the card reader used to gain access to the ATM looks suspicious, do not use it. No PSCU cards have been compromised, but we want to help everyone maintain the highest level of security by passing along any information and alerts as we receive them. Pass this important information on to friends, family, and co-workers.
View MoreHelp Us Deter Wire Fraud On Heloc Accounts
By using public records some fraudsters are able to gain enough personal information about you to initiate a wire transfer at a financial institution. HELOC accounts tend to have higher balances of available funds than credit cards or transaction accounts and are therefore often targeted. In some instances fraudsters are even able to forward telephone calls to and from a member’s actual phone number so that the called in wire request seems legitimate. How can you help protect your account? Come into the Credit Union and add a codeword to your account that only you will know so that we can verify your identity each and every time you call in to talk to us about any of your accounts. All phoned in wire transfers will REQUIRE a codeword on the account before they can be completed, please add a codeword to your account today to help us ensure the safety of your account. Please call us today at 206-623-5023 if you have any questions or concerns.
